It deals with diagnoses and treatment of structural disorders of the locomotor system. Due to an elaborated schema of discriminatory tests, a physiotherapist uses a detailed medical history and physical examination to find disordered structures, determine a degree of damage and analyse mechanisms for the appearance of symptoms. Thus, they can formulate a hypothesis on the patient’s structural disorder and, consequently, an objective of the therapy. To maintain the progress in treatment, the therapist recommends appropriate exercises and gives guidance on how to maintain the correct posture during day and night.
